Reports

Reports turn layer data into shareable documents — for example a property report, a valuation extract, or a summary of selected features. Reports are defined once and can then be run whenever needed; large reports are generated as background jobs.

Opening Reports

Click the Reports button () in the top toolbar of the map panel. The Reports dialog opens with a list of the reports available to you.

INFO

The Reports button is only visible when reports are configured for your account and you have the required permission.

The Reports List

Each report in the list shows its name and description. From here you can:

  • Run a report () — opens the report preview
  • Add Report — create a new report definition (requires permission)
  • Edit () / Delete () a report you have access to manage
  • Report Jobs — open the list of generated reports (see below)
  • Search the list when many reports are configured

Creating or Editing a Report

Click Add Report (or the edit button on an existing report) to open the report form. Depending on the configuration, you choose:

  • The layer the report is based on
  • A caption and description
  • The fields to include
  • Optional filters, sorting, and record limits

Click Save — the report appears in the list for everyone who has access to it.

Running a Report

  1. Click Run on the report you want
  2. The preview opens — enter search criteria if the report asks for them, and adjust the sort order if needed
  3. Review the preview of the first records
  4. Click Execute to generate the full report on all matching records

The report is queued for generation and runs as a background job. You can carry on working while it processes.

Report Jobs

Click Report Jobs in the Reports dialog to see your generated reports. Each job shows the report caption, date, filter used, record counts, and status. From here you can:

  • Preview or View a completed report
  • Download the generated file
  • Cancel a running job
  • Delete old jobs
  • Filter the list by date range — administrators can also see and filter all users' report jobs

Generated reports are typically produced as PDF, Excel, or CSV files, depending on how the report is configured.

Printing Maps

Looking for a printable map rather than a data report? Use the Printing Maps tool — it lets you compose a page with a title, scale, north arrow, and legend, and save it as PDF or an image.

Troubleshooting

Report generation fails

Possible causes include missing permissions, an invalid layer or report configuration, or a very large dataset. Open the job's details in Report Jobs to see the error.

The report takes too long

Complex reports over large datasets take longer to generate. The job continues on the server — check Report Jobs again later.

The download does not start

Refresh the Report Jobs list and confirm the job's status is complete, then try again.
